Thousands of Service Workers Strike for Justice!
Service workers at all nine UC Campuses, five Medical Centers, and Lawrence Berkeley Labs struck UC yesterday, April 14, 2005, to demonstrate their commitment to a fair contract, and to oppose UC’s failure to bargain in good faith.
Contract Victory for Service workers!
Our elected union Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement early Wednesday morning with the University that provides significant raises, equity, and other improvements for over 7,000 U.C. Service workers.
