36 Arrested at UCOP Civil Disobedience

Demanding increased pay for custodians and the insourcing of groundskeepers at UC Irvine, 36 custodians and UC students were willingly arrested Thursday outside the UC president's office in downtown Oakland. Together with more than 250 workers, students and community supporters, they blocked traffic outside UCOP for over 3 hours.
